'Notepad++' is an ideal text editor for writting HTML.
We are now ready to introduce with our freindly notepad.
We can write or edit HTML to use a proffessional editing software like:
Macromedia Dreamwaver, Adobe Dreamwaver, CoffeeCup HTML editor.
We can make this job more easy by using a simple text editor named Notepad.
We can design our first web page with Notepad in a short time. Using Notepad++ also is a good way to write or edit HTML.

To open Notepad, at first, click the start button to the left in the taskbar on your computer. Click All Programs, after click Accessories and then click Notepad(Windows XP, Windows 7)
For Windows 8, at first, open the start screan to the left in the taskbar on your computer and type notepad.
Now, we are going to write HTML code on Notepad and have a look how the browsers display it like as below.

To save the HTML file with Notepad, choose file > save as. Save as window then comes up, name your file name, after the file name must be type .html(or browser could not recognise HTML file without it's own extension) and then hit the enter key on yuor keyboard.
